Okay, it seems I'm on a rant the past few days. But come on, people! Bottling glaciers and calling it designer water? What's up with that?
You can read more about it here.
And you can shop for stainless steel, refillable water bottles here and here, among other places.*
When my blood stops boiling, things like this make me sad. Like the High Fructose Corn Syrup commercials claiming that "in moderation" it's actually healthy. Or Dunkin Donuts latest tag line, "America Runs on Dunkin." How did we get so far away from reality? Eat food, live well. Eat processed commercialized junk "food" and get diabetes, overweight, heart disease, allergies, asthma, cancer...the list goes on and on. And yet most people make the second choice, because that's what's put in front of them and packaged prettily and made plentiful and "normal."
It's time to change normal.
*No, I don't have any connection to either company, other than as a consumer. I just like them.
ETA: Go see a hilarious video spoofing the HFCS ads here. Go King Corn guys!
